It was a housefull response at NFAI from the audience which appreciated the special event, said a release issued here.
People of all ages, including children, were present at the screening today to enjoy the funny moments from the Lumiere films such as The Gardener or Jumping the Blanket and appreciate the work of these pioneers who made cinema, as we know it today, possible, it said.
The audience also appreciated the screening of the rare footage from the film With Our King And Queen Through India (1912) which was made during the 1911 Delhi Durbar, the release added.
