The amount of financial assistance will be given to Francis, who is suffering from aliments which are of chronic nature, in three years at Rs 50,000 per annum.
Earlier also, Francis was given financial assistance of Rs 3.50 lakh in two spells, once Rs 1.50 lakh in February 2009 and again Rs 2 lakh in May 2011 from National Welfare Fund for sportspersons.
With the approval of further financial assistance of Rs 1.50 lakh, she has been sanctioned total financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh.
