FIR against former UP Cong president on fraud charges

An FIR has been lodged against former minister Arun Kumar Singh Munna and his son on charges of fraud, police said today.
Local BSP leader Ramakant Bajpai lodged an FIR against Munna and his son Neeraj Singh last night accusing them of fraud and issuing threat, In-charge of Sadar Kotwali police station K K Yadav said.
Bajpai has alleged that Munna, who is also the former UP Congress president, had taken Rs 5 lakh on the pretext of getting his son Rupak Bajpai admitted in a medical course.
Bajpai said that when his son failed to get admission and he demanded his money back, the former Congress state president threatened him with dire consequences.
