Officials said the fire occurred on the 6th floor staircase of Lok Nayak Bhavan in Khan Market area where the Enforcement Directorate head office is located.
"It was controlled by firemen after smoke and fire was reported early today," they said.
The ED is the central probe agency that investigates cases of money laundering and foreign exchange violations in the country and works under the Union Finance Ministry.
