Fire at Mangolpuri shoe factory

A major fire today broke out at a shoe factory in Mangolpuri Industrial Area in North-west Delhi.
No one was injured in the fire and the amount of damage was yet to be ascertained, a fire department official said.
Several fire tenders were rushed to douse the flames at the factory located at Phase-I of the industrial area.
A call about the fire at Mangolpuri Industrial Area was received at 10.20 am and 30 fire tenders were rushed to control it, the official said.
The cause of the fire was not known. Flames and smoke billowing from the factory posed difficulty before the firemen who fought for a couple of hours to contain it, the official added.
