Fire at Nanadan projection room

A fire broke out in the projection room of the main auditorium of the showcase Nandan Film Centre in the heart of the city here this afternoon.
There was no report of any casualty, Kolkata Police sources said.
Smoke was witnessed in the projection room situated in the fourth floor of the auditorium, run by the West Bengal government, at around 3.40 pm just as a film show ended.
All viewers were immediately evacuated, the police said.
Four fire-tenders brought the blaze under control, Fire Department sources said.
