The fire erupted on level six of the fifth floor of the shopping centre in Bashundhara City here around 11:20 AM following which nine fire fighting units were rushed to the scene, BD News reported.
"We have been informed of a fire in a shop on level six," said Fire Service Control Room in-charge Md Enayet Hossain.
Meanwhile, a staffer of a garment shop on level seven of the mall said the fire started from a footwear shop.
