Fire today broke out at two places in the city though no casualty was reported, police said.
In the first incident, a fire broke out at a paint shop in Mansarover area.
"Prima facie, short circuit appears to be the reason behind the fire which was controlled in time and no one was injured in the incident," Sub Inspector of Shipra Path police station Hari Singh said.
In the second incident, a heap of scrap lying near the Kho Nagorian police station area caught fire in the wee hours today.
The flames were, however, put out after some time, police said.
