However, nobody was hurt in the mishap, fire brigade sources said.
The blaze started on top floor (covered with fibre sheets) of the 'People's Mall' in Karond area at around 12 noon, they said.
A total of six fire-brigades put out the flames within half-an-hour.
The cause behind the incident is not known yet, the sources added.
