Fire in pharma unit, no casualties

A fire broke out in a pharmaceutical company near here this evening due to leakage of some chemical, but no casualties were reported.
According to police, the blaze started due to chemical leakage in 3rd block of the building housing the company, Srini Pharmaceuticals, located near Choutuppal town.
It took two hours for Fire Brigade personnel to put out the inferno, they said, adding no casualties were reported but there was damage to property.
Choutuppal Circle Inspector Naveen Kumar is investigating the case.
