Acting on a tip-off, a 10-member team of Customs authorities led by Prabir Kumar Poddar, seized 40 nine mm pistols and its ammunition from Mohammed Kalu, a resident of Kalichak in North Dinajpur district on Friday, S K Singh, Preventive Customs Commissioner of West Bengal, told a press conference.
Kalu, who was travelling in the bus, was arrested from Palapara More on National Highway 34 in Nadia district, Singh said addressing the press meet yesterday.
