Dewan Bazaar under Lalbagh police station here today.
According to police, one Abdul Waheed of Dewan Bazaar has received gunshot injuries after he was fired at by two youths of adjacent Odia Bazaar.
Some youths from both the neighbouring localities were at loggerheads for past several months and have come face-to-face on many occasions. "Culprits have been identified and they would soon be arrested", said the city deputy police commissioner Sanjeev Arora.
Police said the victim with a single gunshot injury in his thigh is currently undergoing treatment in SCB medical college and hospital here and his condition is stated to be stable.
