The first look of "Titli", a Dibakar Banerjee production about a dysfunctional family from Delhi, was unveiled today.
Keeping in sync with its theme, the poster shows the five main characters sporting a grim look, with two men (newcomer Shashank Arora and Amit Sial) carrying a gun each and another guy (Ranvir Shorey) holding a hammer.
The film's tagline says, "har Family, Family nahi hoti".
"Titli" is being presented by Yash Raj Films, which shared the poster on its Twitter account.
Also shown in the poster are two other characters, played by another newcomer Shivani Raghuvanshi and Lalit Behl.
The movie follows a man's struggle to escape his oppressive environment.
"You choose friends, not your family kyunki har family, family nahi hoti! Here's the 1st poster of #Titli," read the tweet from the YRF page alongside the poster.
It is directed by debutant Kanu Behl, who was the writer on Dibakar's "Love Sex aur Dhokha". He was also one of the assistant directors on "LSD" and "Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye".
Behl has also co-written the film with "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" director Sharat Katariya.
The movie made its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section of Cannes International Film Festival last year. The movie will release on October 30.
