A tiger attacked 55-year-old Santosh Mondal yesterday when he was catching fish and crab in a creek inside the mangrove forest with five other fishermen, forest officials said.
The tiger dragged him into the jungle and other fishermen followed the tiger but could not locate it, officials said.
They later lodged complaint in Gosaba police station and local forest department office.
