Five-day TN State Shooting championship begins tomorrow

: Over 500 shooters, including international athletes like Gayathri and Shrinivetha are expected to participte in the 42nd Tamil Nadu State Shooting Championship for Rifle and Pistol, beginning here tomorrow.
Other international shooters such as Srinithi Aberami, Mithilesh, Sandhya, Sarvesh Swaroop, Adarsh Chetty and Ajay Nitesh and many more experienced shooters from various clubs, including Tamil Nadu Police, will be seen in action during the five-day event.
The event is also a qualifying one for the upcoming South Zone and Pre National Shooting Competitions, a Coimbatore Rifle Club release said today.
The championship will be inaugurated by District Collector T N Hariharan, in the presence of City Police Commissioner, A Amalraj, it added.
