Five persons, including two CRPF personnel, were killed today after a speeding trailer hit a CRPF truck and a car in Rajasthan's Udaipur district, police said.
The trailer going to Bhilwara from Udaipur hit a CRPF truck from the behind and then hit a car coming from the opposite direction after crossing the four-lane highway divider and overturned, SHO Bekaria Police Station, Karamveer Singh said.
He said two CRPF personnel were killed after the truck fell off a bridge. The trailer driver and two passengers travelling in the car also died.
A helper travelling in the trailer sustained severe injuries and is undergoing treatment, police said.
An FIR was registered against the trailer driver by members of other CRPF teams travelling in separate vehicles, they said.
