Five miscreants loot Rs 35,000 from businessman in UP

A businessman, resident of village Malawan, was picked up by five miscreants in a car and looted of Rs 35,000, near village Aspur crossing, police said.
The victim, Ghamandi Lal, was waiting for a vehicle to go to Etah when a Bolero car picked him up and looted the cash he was carrying, they said.
They then left him on the road side near village Aspur crossing in Kotwali Malawan and fled away, they added.
An FIR in this connection has been filed by the businessman against the five accused persons, Station officer Kotwali Malawan, Digvijay Singh said.
Hunt is on for nabbing the culprits, police said adding, the looted cash has also not been recovered.
