The alleged incident came to light when the wailing girl was spotted by some villagers at a secluded place near Kadbahal under Malkangiri sadar police station yesterday, they said.
The accused had been sexually exploiting the minor for quite some time promising her job and they had deserted her yesterday, the police said.
The five were arrested on charge of rape and forwarded to the court, police said.
The girl has been sent to a centre run by a voluntary organisation, said district child welfare council chairperson, Sanjykta Pradhan.
