"Till date an amount of Rs 40.70 crores has been disbursed among 9984 traders who were affected during the floods of September 2014," Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Asghar Hassan Samoon said.
While reviewing the disbursal of relief among traders, Samoon said government is committed to help each and every trader who suffered losses during the floods.

An official spokesperson said 5,532 traders have already been granted cheques worth Rs 14.32 crores since the process of disbursal was expedited after February 25.
An amount of Rs 1.99 crores was disbursed among 813 traders yesterday, he said.
Rs 1.10 crores was distributed among 377 traders of Srinagar, Rs 74 lakhs among 390 traders of Anantnag, Rs 13 lakhs among 39 traders of Pulwama and Rs three lakhs among 12 traders of Bandipora district yesterday, he further said.
