Floral tributes paid to Kamaraj on his birth anniversary

Chief Minister V Narayanasamy led the Union Territory to pay floral tributes at the statue of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader K Kamaraj on his 114th birth anniversary today.
Speaker V Vaithilingam, Deputy Speaker V P Sivakolundhu and ministersm MLAs were among those who paid tributes to the leader.
They recalled the services of Kamaraj particularly in promoting education and introduction of welfare schemes including the noon meal programme.
