The demolition drive of the land, estimated to cost over Rs 24 crore, was carried out by a team led by project engineer K R Verma, officials said.
Some of the affected villagers have claimed that their houses were constructed decades ago and they were given land on pattas (title deed to a property) in 1981-82, they said.
The officials said whether the land was allotted on patta or not would be investigated.
"Presently, the thrust is to construct the FNG road to provide better connectivity between Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad," the officials said.
