According to the MeT department here, fog occurred at many places over the state while cold conditions were experienced at isolated places.
Keeping in view the extreme cold, the district administration of Lucknow has ordered closure of all schools up to class 8 till January 21.
The MeT department has forecast that fog would occur at many places over the state with dense to very dense fog at few places.
