Fog, cold wave affect normal life in UP

Dense fog coupled with intense cold wave disrupted normal life in most parts of Uttar Pradesh and claimed at least two lives, while Lucknow recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 3.4 degrees Celsius today.
Road and rail traffic was also hit as scores of trains passing through the state were running several hours behind the schedule.
Two school students were killed when their motorcycle collided with a truck in Jalaun district.
Meteorological department has said that dense to very dense fog will occur at a few places over the state and cold day condition would prevail in the state tomorrow.
