Football tourney to promote need for children's education

The NGO, CRY - Child Rights and You, today organised a day-long football tournament at Mohun Bagan ground in support of education for the underprivileged children.
Having witnessed unmatched passion for the game of football, the city saw that love for the game took a new turn and became a platform to ensure children get access to the right to education and schools.
Nine corporate groups competed in the day-long tournament organised by the NGO in association with Genius Consultants Ltd.
"It gives a platform to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children while doing what they love," Atindra Nath Das, Regional Director, CRY (East) said in a release.
