Force Motors Q4 net profit rises 59% at Rs 74 cr

Force Motors today reported a 59.31 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 73.73 crore for the quarter ended March 31, on better sales.
The company's standalone net profit stood at Rs 46.28 crore in the same quarter a year ago, Force Motors said in a BSE filing.
Net sales during the period under review stood at Rs 903.4 crore as against Rs 694.55 crore in the year-ago period, up 30 per cent, it said.
For the fiscal ended March 31, 2016, the company said its consolidated net profit was at Rs 179.57 crore as compared to Rs 101.53 crore in the previous year, up 76.86 per cent.

Consolidated net sales for the fiscal were at Rs 3,033.6 crore as against Rs 2,337.63 crore in the previous year, a growth of 29.77 per cent, it said.
Shares of Force Motors were trading 2.43 per cent up at Rs 3,480 apiece on BSE.
