The company had posted a net profit of Rs 44.86 crore in the January-March period of the previous fiscal, Force Motors said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's net sales on a standalone basis also increased 24.02 per cent during the quarter under review to Rs 694.55 crore as against Rs 559.99 crore for the same period a year ago, it added.
For the entire fiscal ended March 2015, the company's consolidated net profit increased 30.43 per cent to Rs 101.53 crore as against Rs 77.84 crore in the previous fiscal.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Force Motors informed that its board has recommended 50 per cent dividend of Rs 5 per equity share of Rs 10 each.
The company's shares closed 8.76 per cent down at Rs 1,570 per scrip on the BSE.
