Justice S.Tamilvannan gave the order on a batch of applications filed by two rival members of Council including S.Thanu and A Kothandaramaiah.
The judge said he was giving this order in view of the detailed report filed by the Judge-Commissioner, pursuant to the no-confidence motion passed against office-bearers of the Council. "Hence, it will not be proper to entrust the duty of conducting election to the said office bearers."
The court passed the order going by several civil suits and applications and several rounds of litigations filed by the rival groups of the council.
