Despite being a former Miss World and having walked down the ramp several times as a model before becoming a Bollywood actress, doing catwalk still gives Priyanka Chopra goose bumps.
"Walking on ramp still scares me. I think I can do action or anything better but not this (walking the ramp). I do get nervous. I have model friends who make me feel comfortable, give me tips. Once it is over, I feel easy," Priyanka said.
Wearing off white colour Kaftan with cuts on both the sides, Priyanka walked the ramp for a Neeta Lulla creation on the fifth day of ongoing Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 here today.
"I was quite comfortable with this outfit..It was because of this that I was having a bouncy kind of a walk," Priyanka said.
Priyanka shares good equation with Neeta. "It is always amazing to walk the ramp for an iconic designer like her," she said.
For Priyanka, fashion means wearing something that is comfortable. "Fashion is all about being comfortable and looking beautiful. For a girl the best accessory is her confidence and that comes through what one is wearing," she said.
Neeta's collection was inspired by Aztec motifs with Indian badla work.
"This season it's very simple silhouettes for summer. It is Indo-western and can be coordinated or embellished in different ways to make various statements of style. The silhouettes are tubular and soft in their form," Neeta said.
The colour story had bright colours like pink, green, blue, brown, etc.
Neeta's collection has always attracted big names from Bollywood. Actress Shilpa Shetty with sister Shamita, Alka Yagnik and others were present in the audience.
