Former Madhya Pradesh minister and senior Congress leader Vidyadhar Joshi passed away at a hospital in Bhopal today after a prolonged illness, a family member said.
He was 85.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, including Congress Seva Dal National vice president Mahendra Joshi, and two daughters.
Joshi had served as the Minister of State for Commerce and Industries of Madhya Pradesh in Motilal Vora's government.
He had represented Shujalpur seat in the state Assembly from 1985-90.
The last rites will be performed at Shujalpur in Shajapur district tomorrow, Mahendra Joshi said.
