Former president APJ Abdul Kalam to join GVK EMRI's board

"GVK EMRI 108 mission is indeed a mission of partnership of every human being to remove pain and give happiness. The 108 service should transform into a beautiful life saving mission throughout the nation," a GVK press release quoting Kalam said.

GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) chairman G V K Reddy expressed sincere gratitude to Kalam for his consent to be Chairman Emeritus and said that the former president's visionary guidance would help the organisation.

He reiterated the board
