Former SP women's wing state chief resigns from party
Press Trust of India Lucknow Former state president of Samajwadi Party Mahila Sabha, Shweta Singh, resigns from the party today.
"I worked with my full devotion in the party but I am hurt at the treatment meted to me by party office bearers. In present situation I am finding it difficult to work in the party", she said in her letter to SP's national president Akhilesh Yadav.
Shweta was considered close to SP leader Shivpal Singh Yadav.
