Former TDP MLA Parvatha Sri Satyanarayana Murthy passes away

Former TDP MLA and the party's East Godavari district unit president, Parvatha Sri Satyanarayana Murthy died of heart attack here today.
He was 59.
Murthy, popularly known as Chittibabu, was a former MLA from Prathipadu constituency in East Godavari. He is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.
He suffered cardiac arrest this morning and was rushed to Apollo Hospital here, family members said.
Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa later in the day visited the hospital.
Chittibabu was elected as MLA in 2000 but was defeated in the 2004 polls.

He belonged to Sankhavaram village in the district, nearly 60 kms from here, but has been living in Vidyanagar area for the last seven years.

The body is being taken to his native village for the last rites, to be performed in evening.
Kakinada MLA Kondababu, state irrigation minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao and other leaders also paid last respect to the departed soul.
