The accused, identified as B Bhasker, Srikanth, B Bhargav and K Anjaneyulu were arrested while another member of their gang is absconding, a release from Hyderabad Police stated.
The accused were involved in printing and circulation of counterfeit currency of Rs 100 denomination, police said, adding fake currency of face value Rs 15,700 was seized from them.
Acting on a complaint about circulation of fake currency in Koti market area, police arrested Bhasker and Bhargav, the release stated.
Based on their confession, police raided a house in Bandlaguda area and arrested Srikanth and Anjaneyulu, it said.
