Four booked for gangrape in Haryana

The victim, a resident of Mohalla Khasapura here, was allegedly lured away by a close relative on May 8, who later kept her in confinement at a secluded place and raped her with his three associates, they said.

The woman managed to escape on May 14 and lodged a complaint yesterday, alleging that the accused also assaulted her when she tried to resist them, police said.

A case of gangrape, wrongful confinement and criminal intimidation has been slapped against the four and a hunt is on to nab the absconding culprits, they said.
