The Child Protection Unit of Thane Police rescued the minors last night, an official said today.
Inspector Madan Ballal, who supervised the raid on food stalls, said all those rescued were below the age of 14 and later sent to remand home.
The arrested trio - Suraj Roy, C Manickam and Vicky Mangtani - were booked under relevant sections of IPC, Care and Protection of Children Act, 2000 and Child Labour Prevention Act, 1986, he said.
Ballal said the raid was conducted with the assistance of Kalyan Bal Samiti, an NGO active in anti-child labour movement.
