Four children killed as van falls into river

Four children were killed and six others injured when the van in which they were travelling overturned and fell into Bagmati river near Parare village in Bihar's Samastipur district today.
The speeding pick-up van was on its way to Harpur village from Bithan in the district with 15 passengers on board when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it fell into the river, Sub-Divisional Officer of Rosera, Kundan Kumar said.
The dead were in the age group of four to ten years and have been identified, he said.
The injured were rushed to a local primary health centre, the SDO added.
