Four drowned, five missing as boat capsizes in Karnataka

The family had gone for a joy-ride to the tank at Kaja Kotanur, 15 kms away from here, on a picnic when the capsize occurred.

Bodies of four persons had been recovered. A search is on for the missing, Superintendent of Police Praveen Madhukar Pawar said.

One person swam to safety and another was rescued, he said.
