Four file nominations for RS polls from Telangana

Three candidates of ruling TRS and the nominee of main opposition Congress today filed their nominations for the March 23 Rajya Sabha elections from Telangana.
The TRS candidates are J Santosh Kumar, B Lingaiah Yadav and B Prakash.
P Balaram is the Congress candidate, an official release said.
Jajula Bhaskar (no party affiliation) has also filed his nomination in the biennial election to fill three vacancies, the release said.
The scrutiny of nominations would take place tomorrow.
The TRS is likely win the three seats as MIM has announced its support to the ruling party.
In the 119-member Legislative Assembly, the party-wise strength is: TRS-82, INC-19, MIM-7, BJP-5, TDP-3, Independent-1, CPI(M)-1 and CPI-1.
