Additional District and Sessions Judge Ramshreshth Rai passed the order after convicting Satyam Bharadwaj, his parents Dhirendra Mishra and Ranjana Devi and younger brother Nishant Bharadwaj.
The judge also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of them in the dowry death case of Shilpi Kumari, wife of Satyam.
If the convicts failed to pay the fine, they would have to undergo imprisonment for an additional six months.
According to the prosecution, Kumari was burnt to death by her husband and other members of his family at a place under Town police station on May 2, 2011, after she had failed to meet their dowry demands.
