The incident took place this morning when victim, who took a lift from an engineer identified as Bhavnish Kumar, was getting off the vehicle at Defence Colony.
"As man got off the car, some unidentified robbers struck at him and robbed his belongings and money. Seeing man was being robbed, Kumar rushed to rescue him, but was threatened by the accused," said a senior police officer.
"After the incident, police was immediately informed. Later, cops flashed a message on the wireless and barricades were erected at all possible exits. At Chirag Delhi Flyover, all four accused, including a minor, were chased down," officer said.
Police said that the arrested, except the minor, have been identified as Ashish, Neeraj, Ashish Choudhary.
"We have registered a case against all four accused and recovered money and belongings looted from the victim from their possession," he added.
