Four Indians win gold at World School Athletics

Four Indians bagged a gold reach on the opening day of the World School Athletics Championships in Wuhan, China today.
Asian youth champion in 800m, Beant Singh bagged the gold in his pet event with a timing of 1:52.20 while Durga Devare clocked a new national youth record with 4:33.06sec in 1500m to win the yellow metal.
High jumper Tejaswin Shnakar cleared 2.11m to take the top honours while Kishan Tadve led from start to finish to win the gold in 3000m race in 8:42.59, according to information received here.
