Four IT employees killed in accident in Kancheepuram district

Four IT employees were killed and two others injured when the car they were travelling in rammed into a stationary lorry in the district today, police said.

The incident occurred at Kolampakkam near here when all the six aged 20-25 were proceeding to Puducherry early this morning, they said.

While three died on the spot, one woman succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

The accident disrupted traffic along the Tiruchi-Chennai highway for more than an hour.
