The mini-bus was on its way to Bhojpur village in Samastipur district. The accident happened near a bridge last night. The deceased have been identified as Gulzari Ram (20), Govind Kumar(22), Pala Rai (26) and Manoj Kumar (25) alias Hitler of Rachiahi village in Begusarai district, they said.
"The driver of the mini-bus was drunk. He lost control of the vehicle and slammed it into a roadside tree. The vehicle overturned after the accident. Four men died on the spot," said Sarairanjan SHO Ram Nivas.
