Sikandra police station SHO Vivek Bharti said that the marriage of Vicky Kumar of Munger was solemnised with neighbouring Sheikhpura district resident Kavita Kumari yesterday.
The incident occurred when the groom was on his way to his home in Munger after solemnising the marriage when the car's driver lost control over the vehicle and rammed into a tree on Jamui-Sikandra road, SHO said.
Vicky, Kavita, the driver Rajiv Kumar and a teenage boy Shyam Sundar were injured in the mishap, he said adding that all the injured persons were admitted to sadar hospital.
