Four rescued from snow storm in Kathua

Four persons have been rescued from the high-altitude Bani forest in Kathua here after they were stuck due to heavy snowfall, even as the search operation continued to find one other.
"Four people out of 5 trapped in heavy snowfall in Khanbi-Bani forest area of the district have been rescued. The operation to find another person is on," Kathua Deputy Commissioner Ramesh Kumar said.
They had gone to the forest for hunting a few days ago but were trapped following heavy snowfall, he said.
