Four students booked in assault case

Four students of a homoeopathy college here were booked today for allegedly beating up one of their juniors, police said.
The victim A Gupta, a second year student of the college, was beaten up by four of his seniors yesterday after he protested against their passing of lewd remarks at some of the girl students of the institution, they said.
Later, he was admitted to hospital in serious condition.
The accused has been booked on the basis of a compliant lodged by the victim.
Meanwhile, a college committee has been formed to investigate the matter and all the accused students have been suspended.
