Chief Judicial Magistrate Suresh Chand Areya has sent the accused Shahid Rana to 14 days judicial custody in connection with the murder of Rajiv Upadhay last month.
Rana, a lawyer by profession, was on the run following the murder and was arrested yesterday, police said.
On June 11, 27-year-old Rajiv was shot dead by his paramour's husband Shahnazar, his two brothers Shahnoor and Shahbaz and Rana in Sujru village, they said.
All the four accused have been arrested and a case has been registered against them, police added.
