It would be a part of the global launch of fourth edition of IXL, which is an endeavour to provide a competitive platform for the Indians across the globe to test their mental mettle and popularise the mind game of crosswords.
The organisers of the League said, "To engage the bright diaspora, the contest sailed beyond the shores last year to have a round each in Toronto and New Jersey."
It will be followed by unveiling of the IXL 2016 trophy by R Chandrasekhar, President, Nasscom followed by the opening of the first weekly online round.
The first Indian Crossword League was launched in 2013 under the aegis of Extra-C, a Patna-based civil society, to commemorate 100 years of crosswords and pay tribute to Arthur Wynne, credited with the first published crossword in 1913.
