Freddie Smith charged with drunk driving
The 'Days of Our Lives' star sustained minor injuries when he misjudged a curve in the road and subsequently flipped the car over near the city of Ashtabula in Ohio, reported Huffington Post.
Smith's girlfriend Alyssa Tabit, who was a passenger in the car, is recovering after suffering critical injuries.
Local authorities said that Smith was driving with a blood-alcohol level more than what was permitted in Ohio.
Smith's attorney has declined to comment on the charges.
