Freedom fighter Chandrakant Kenkre no more

Freedom fighter Chandrakant Kenkre has passed away in Shirodi in Goa, family sources said today.
87-year-old Kenkre was admitted to a private hospital since last few days, where he died while undergoing treatment last night, they said.
He is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters.
Kenkre was known for fighting for rights of freedom fighters after liberation of Goa from Portuguese rule in 1961.
He was also a former president of Goa Freedom Fighters Association.
